I just vibe with the idea that a kid can admire their parents enough for one lifetime and move on to someone or something else... and that she feels compelled to TELL THEM ABOUT IT. I have a kid, you know? This is basically how it goes. "Mama, I love you. Ok. Time to love other people. Byeeeeeeeeeee."

Simpson got her start with the webcomic "Ozy and Millie" which ran from 1998-2008, which is a good long run. It's a cute strip and you should check it out.
