Get Fuzzy by Darby Conley for 11-15-2010

Darby Conley, who abruptly stopped producing "Get Fuzzy" and now doesn't seem to have a web presence, really nailed what it's like having a fairly unpleasant cat and a goofy dog. Satchel is just... the epitome of dog, the essence of dog. And Bucky...? A mean jerk that you still have to take care of because you made a commitment. In other words, a Siamese cat.

And he does this with engaging humor and interesting art.

Just... the idea of a pets having no idea what their human does when he's not present, the idea that he essentially stops existing when he's not visible. Why would animals know what work is? He's going somewhere, he's doing something... probably? Maybe? Or he's just hanging out in the hallway for some human reason that only makes sense to humans?
