I refuse to comment on the dialog of this strip or the story line of this week, however I want to note that the body language is excellent.
Edda going from relaxed comfort, enjoying a book, and then sits up with her feet pulled away from Amos. She looks like she's about to get up and go away (as she well should).
Amos goes from casual to a little awkward.
The content of this week, which again I'm refusing to touch, seems to have invigorated McEldowney and inspired some improved body language/interaction. This feels like he's put more effort into this week than he has in years. I hope he can maintain this effort but with different subject matter.
